The Fibrogaine fire protection coating consists of mineral wool, an inorganic binder and enhancers. The fire protection coating is a non-combustible thermal insulation system with low air permeability which prevents the impact of heat flow or fire on the protected structures. The material is supplied as a factory-controlled premix.

The self-supported air duct made of Ecoplast vermiculite panels is a fire resistant air duct.
The maximum fire resistance of the air duct is at least EI 150 given a 25 mm thick Ecoplast panel.
